• Dr. Klein: Like most things regarding sex, it depends on the person.

  I agree with you that there has been an increase in men and women experimenting with anal pleasure. This can include fingers, penises, and toys. The key factors in actually enjoying anal play are relaxation, lubrication, and communication. You can ask a partner about her preference when you're feeling close and not in bed, or you can gently rub your finger along the sensitive skin of the outside of your partner's anus sometime and see how she responds.
