Anal masturbation

• Q: I am a male. I love to look at and feel girls, and would never want to be with a guy, but I want to masturbate by sticking an object up my anus. Is this normal?
• Dr. Klein: The anus can be a source of great sexual pleasure because it is loaded with nerve endings. But that also means it is very sensitive, so you must be careful not to damage it, particularly the lining of the anus. Since it does not lubricate itself, you must use a lubricant when inserting anything, and never insert anything with a sharp edge or point. Is anal play "normal?" On the one hand, it's very common. On the other hand, many people think it's weird or dirty. It's up to you to decide what works for you.
