• Q: My boyfriend and I recently tried to have sex for the first time together. When he stuck his penis in my vagina, it hurt. Is my vagina too small for sex?
• Dr. Klein: Sex the first time can be uncomfortable, especially if people go too fast, or try to make love without lots of talking before, during, and after. Next time, forget about intercourse, and just use your hands and mouths to enjoy yourselves and pleasure each other until you become better acquainted. And don't worry, it's extremely rare that a vagina would be too small.
